Basch Jernigan

Gulf Coast Soul Singer, Songwriter, Musician

Basch Jernigan is a singer, songwriter, and musician from Gulf Shores, Alabama. With a soulful voice accompanied by acoustic guitar and harmonica, Basch combines elements of funk, blues, southern rock and soul inspired by artists such as JJ Grey and Allen Stone.

Jernigan has been writing, performing, and releasing music on the gulf coast for over a decade. Most recently, Basch toured and recorded as the frontman for New Orleans rock and soul band Roadside Glorious from 2016 to 2020. RG released a full length album recorded at legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL and was slated to perform at the 2020 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival before the pandemic shook the world, and the band’s plans.

Now, after living in New Orleans for almost a decade, Jernigan returns to his hometown of Gulf Shores and dives deeper into his soul roots as a solo artist. With plans to record his debut solo EP in 2022, and more shows on the horizon, the future looks promising for Jernigan.
